 When we mentioned celebrating our anniversary, the team presented us with a beautifully prepared strawberry vegan cake that stood out for its moist strawberry layers and rich compote filling - easily the most memorable celebration dessert we've experienced in Thailand.

The accommodations exemplify understated elegance, with sleek furnishings, plush bedding, and a soothing neutral palette. Large windows flood the spaces with natural light, while soundproofing ensures tranquility despite the hotel’s central location. Every detail reflects meticulous upkeep—spotless surfaces, gleaming fixtures, and technology that functions seamlessly. The overall effect is one of polished sophistication with a whisper of Thai serenity.

The hotel's dining options are truly impressive, featuring many venues to suit every taste. Goodfellas Pizzeria serves excellent wood-fired pizzas with beachfront views, including well-executed vegan options - their garlic bread is particularly noteworthy. 

Phuket Eatery became our daily dining spot, offering an outstanding breakfast buffet with everything from freshly baked pastries to made-to-order specialties like pancakes and a unique beet ramen. The lunch and dinner menus shine with dishes like perfectly balanced Pad Thai, flavorful green curry, and an exceptional vegan grilled burger that completely changed our perception of plant-based patties, especially when paired with the house-made vegan balsamic mayo on artisanal sourdough. The almond-crusted cauliflower served with whipped potatoes was another highlight, showcasing the kitchen's creativity. The mango sticky rice deserves special acclaim. While this classic dessert often feels predictable elsewhere, the hotel's version is transformative. Perfectly ripe mango slices rest atop warm, coconut-infused sticky rice, but the genius lies in the finishing touch: a generous sprinkling of golden, crispy puffed rice grains. This unexpected addition creates a delightful play of textures—the initial crunch giving way to the rice's comforting chewiness and the mango's lush sweetness. The execution shows remarkable finesse, maintaining respect for tradition while introducing an inspired modern element that elevates the entire experience, mirroring the hotel's balanced approach to hospitality and their ability to elevate traditional elements into something special.

Beyond the excellent food, the hotel provides a wonderful balance of energy and relaxation. The Endless Summer Beach Club offers a vibrant atmosphere with quality music, while the four pools - including swim-up bars - create peaceful retreats surrounded by tropical landscaping. Despite being close to Patong's exciting nightlife and shopping, our room provided a quiet, well-appointed sanctuary. The staff's professional yet personal approach to service stood out, with team members taking genuine pride in ensuring guest satisfaction.

With direct beach access, convenient proximity to Bangla Road's entertainment, and superb on-site amenities, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket creates an exceptional guest experience.
